More Facts Less Facts

This is a lovely brief family trek that goes across the pretty viewpoint of Sarangkot in the beautiful lake city of Pokhara, Naudanda, and Dhampus; areas that offer great view points that show you the astonishing environments of Pokhara valley. Along the trail we also get to interact with some exciting communities which give us insights into Nepal’s rustic lifestyles, these folks are: Damais in Sarangkot, and Gurungs in Dhampus. The matchless sunrise and sunset vistas from Sarangkot and the areas around Dhampus are a practical feast for the eyes never to be forgotten. While standing on Naudanda we get an eagle-eye view of the whole Pokhara valley, the calm Fewa Lake, and the colorful villages perched on the hillock slopes around. And catching sight of the sacred Mt Fishtail Mountain is a welcome plus that puts our video cams on overdrive…

And when the trip ends, you soon realize this little trip will give you lifetime memories of a dazzling holiday, as you bask in the wonderful landscapes with an incredible balance of sweet mother nature on the one hand and the interesting meetings with the local folks and the culture on the other hand, a perfect blending for a dream holiday enjoyed. For this is only a part of what the famous Annapurna region has on offer: a wide, assorted campaign of terrific ecosystems accompanied with a similar blending of prosperous thriving cultures along the paths we hike through. If you are restricted on time, hiking on the outskirts of the highly popular valley of Pokhara is a best option that will prepare you for the larger than life trips in this sublime region…because you will surely return back again, sooner than later…
